Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Maximum Participants: 6
Minimum age: 10 years.
Materials fee: $2 per robot/alien/plant
Workshop Duration: 1 hr

Special Art Guest Thyrza Segal will walk you through the steps to make small polymer clay aliens and robots that can be used as terrarium decor or placed in any houseplant pot to create a miniature alien diorama.

Here are a few examples of easy figurines but if you want to make anything more advanced, Thyrza will help out.

You can also see quite a few more examples of her figurines on her art terrarium site: www.thyrza.ca.

Thyrza Segal

Thyrza graduated from the set and costume design program of the National Theatre School in Montreal and went on to work in theatre and TV and film - including as assistant costume designer on Stargate Atlantis. But she quit film work 10 years ago to do my own art and has been painting, making lamps, terrariums, photography , sculpting, assembling and Photoshopping since then.
