Every year, VCON’s crack Programming team assembles three days jam-packed with the best in panels, workshops, and events to keep you in geek nirvana. We hope that you are as excited by the panels, discussions, workshops and presentations we have on offer this year as we are!

Moderator Jonathan Tweet describes his "Walking Poll" session thus: "I run this event regularly at Burning Man, and I'd like to run it at a science fiction con. VCon would be my first. Everyone stands in a group. The leader presents the group with either-or questions such as, "If you like pirates better than ninjas, move left. If you like ninjas better than pirates, move right." Everybody gets to see how everyone else in the group answers the question. Periodically we break into a discussion, and then move onto new questions. The topics would be related to the theme of the con, to science fiction and fantasy in general, to current geeky events, fan politics, that sort of thing."
