Copyleft and Copyright: Intellectual Property Rights in the Digital Age.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What is the future of intellectual property rights in our globally connected world. Are the digital pirates downloading music, film and software really as criminal as the corporations would have us believe? Are the corporations concerns about the impact of piracy on their industries as unfounded as sites like the Pirate Bay or IsoHunt might suggest? (After all, how many people under the age of 25 have NEVER watched, read, listened to or run media or software that was "pirated"?)

President, DriveThru
I love publishing. I love the tools that are freeing more creators up to do more and better self-publishing. I was a publisher (a founder of White Wolf, a tabletop roleplaying and fiction publisher) and then helped found and now work at OneBookShelf which runs marketplaces like DriveThru Comics/RPG/Fiction that empower creators to self-publish their work.
